Favorite exhibition
Richard Serra's East-West/West-East in the Qatari desert. Visited during the first edition of Art Basel Qatar. One of those works that stays with you. Up close, the steel plates feel monumental; set against the vast desert, they almost dissolve into the horizon. That shift in scale makes the work both powerful and deeply contemplative.
Favorite museum
Choosing just one is nearly impossible, but in New York, I always return to the Hispanic Society. Extraordinary and often overlooked, it holds works by Goya and Velázquez, and Sorolla's Visions of Spain room, which alone is worth the journey. And yet I cannot leave out the Prado in Madrid. A museum of unrivalled depth, where every visit reveals something you missed before.
